Lexigo, a word game from Wiggles 3D, has attracted the attention of Canadian families.
The Canadian Toy Testing Council (CTTC) awarded Lexigo their highest rating, the CTTC Three-Star Toy Seal in the 2011 Toy Report. Additionally, they judged it ‘a good choice for a birthday gift’ because of its high quality and affordable price.
The CTTC is a non-profit organization evaluating toys since 1952. Every year, Canadian children and their families test hundreds of toys in everyday settings to assess design, function, durability and play value. Based on these reviews, the Council rates each toy, awarding Three Stars, Two Stars, One Star, Novelty or Not Recommended.
This is the fourth award that Lexigo has won. Other awards are Good Housekeeping magazine’s Best Toy Awards 2010, The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal Award 2010 and the Creative Child Magazine’s Game of the Year 2010 in the category for educational word games.
Lexigo, the game of crazy spelling fun, offers a new take on traditional letter-tile games. Words can be spelled in any direction-forwards, backwards or in a twisting path. Sold in a hexagon-shaped tube, Lexigo contains 100 letter tiles and a convenient cloth travel pouch. Lexigo is available at Barnes and Noble, Toys ‘R’ Us, select Target locations, Amazon.com and specialty retail stores.
