London, ON Canada – February 11, 2011 – Wiggles 3D is delighted to reveal their newest game Ding at the American International Toy Fair in New York City.
Ding is a unique card game that combines the fun of trick-taking and trump card games like Hearts or Spades, with the card strategies of draw Poker and the ultimate game changer – spelling D-i-n-g with the letter cards.
Players move around on the board by competing to win tricks. You take tricks either one by one by having the highest card of the suit lead, playing the highest trump card or by playing a Ding! – a special move that propels you forward while sending your opponents backwards.
Players declare if they are IN or OUT for each hand and in draw poker style are given the chance to draw new cards to try and improve their chances. If you are IN on a round, you need to take at least one trick a hand or you’ll move backwards, further away from the Finish line.
“We are excited to premiere Ding at the New York International Toy Fair,” said Don Reid, president of Wiggles 3D. “It’s a fresh and fun new take on card games for the family and the perfect addition to our portfolio of games.”
Toy Fair 2011 will take place February 13-16, 2011 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Attendees can see Ding and other award-winning games from Wiggles 3D at booth is #6133, game zone.
Ding is a great new game for the whole family and will be carried in major and specialty retailers this spring. The game is recommended for 3-8 players, aged 8 and over.
